Wedding pictures...

I have felt like I haven't had much to write about lately. So I haven't. Awful I know. But I was looking through the pictures on my computer trying to find one to write about. (Easter is coming as soon as I figure out how to download the pictures of the new camera.)

I remembered I had those wonderful pictures of my grandparents and parents on their wedding days. I love them.

This is a picture of my Dad's parents, Irene and Gottfried Schwartz. Or as I knew them, Grandma and Grandpa Schwartz. This was their wedding day on June 5, 1932. They got married in the Logan Temple. This was my Grandpa's second marriage. His first wife died giving birth to their 4th child. The baby died also. My Grandpa went on to marry my Grandma. My Dad is their 3rd out of 5 children that they had together. My special memories of them are seeing the Logan Temple from their house, the "sparkles" they had on the ceiling of their house, eating "Corn Pops" cereal no matter what time we got to their house, and the tire swing in their front yard. My Grandma passed away in the summer of 1986. My Grandpa passed away in December 1991 at the age of 96.

These are my Mom's parents, Rosalie and Oliver Wayman. Or Grandma and Grandpa Wayman as I knew them. This was taken on their wedding day on July 26, 1943. They also married in the Logan Temple. My Mom is the oldest of 5 kids. My Grandma made this dress herself. She was an excellent seamtress. I love her dress. My fondest memories of my Grandma and Grandpa Wayman are my Grandma's cookies, the candy leis they would send us, my Grandpa's hugs, and the blessing dress that my Grandma made for me to wear that all my 5 daughters have worn also. My Grandma passed away in March 19, 2000 and my Grandpa passed away on July 26, 2008.

These are my parents, Alan and Mary Ann Schwartz. Aren't they cute! :) They got married on January 9, 1968 in the Logan Temple. I am their 4th child and 4th daughter. I have so many good memories of my parents that it would take a lifetime to share them. But here's a couple...going to Dodger games with my Dad and my Mom helping me sew my wedding dress.

Here is one of our wedding photos. Taken on November 16, 1996 at the Los Angeles Temple. Thought I was going to say Logan, right? But alas, no. I wanted to be married in Logan. But may Mom said she was not doing a wedding in Utah that time of year. Oh, well. I still got married and it was a beautiful day.

I hope this wasn't to boring for you all. I just love this pictures and wanted to share them.

I love the photos! How nice to have those of your grandparents. I haven't posted in quite awhile either. I have too much to blog about. Someday!

I remember meeting Grandpa Wayman shortly after Grandma Wayman passed away. The Larsen's came down for either the funeral or just to visit. Krissy and I were in the same ward at Rick's. Great memories.
